Clark Historic Farm

Pollinator Art Contest

Prizes sponsored by Harvest Lane Honey

Bring a small (about 8 oz.) jar of your honey to the Clark Farm Sweet Cornbread booth, just inside the front entrance of the Honey Harvest Festival any time on Friday, Oct. 13th, or before noon on Saturday, Oct. 14th. Visitors will taste it and vote on it, as well as a panel of judges. Winner announced at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. Prizes will be given!

What is Pollinator Art, you ask? Well, it is an idea created just for the Honey Harvest Festival, and literally ANYONE can do it! Take a piece of rigid foam insulation board, line the edges with black lathe boards, hot glue black cardstock in a beautiful design and fill with the hundreds of shades of pollinated seeds available. You'll be amazed at the designs you can make! Adult, Teen and Youth categories. Entry fee of $15 includes everything but the seeds, and you can get a second one for just $10 if you promise to complete it for the Honey Harvest Festival! Winner announced Saturday, Oct. 14th, 10:45 a.m.
